They could raise capital by selling one of their many, many tenements. We don't have the money to drill most of it right now, so why not sell off an oil/gas or coal field?
If this trade went sour, we would've been out of pocket $2million, and what if JH decided he could 'trade' it back?
This is not what we bought the company for, it's a very dangerous and sloppy move.
