Thats Interesting Kerrisdale, I read somewhere only recently that a lot of specialty stores were prettying themselves up on the hope to sell out to Myer and big companies.
The rational is due to the bigger companies having more clout with purchasing power. Now I cant remember where I read this but was only recently.
