"The Man Who Planted Hope and Grew Happiness" by JEAN GIONO was originally published in VOGUE in 1954.... renewed in 1982(?) as "The Man Who Planted Trees".
Not a true story, I thought it was for many years... nevertheless it COULD be a real story.
What's the saying? "Build it and they will come".... the same goes with trees I reckon... "Plant and they will come" ..... bees, birds, bird fertilizer, shade, animals, clean water......
