good one mate,
how long are you holding them for, 4 weeks, 6 weeks,
turn em and burn em
my next door neighbour to me buys and sells,
he doesnt do the lambs anymore,
he buys a mob in, holds them for about 6 months, his sons son shears them and then they offload them a few weeks later, i guess it works for them,
i like having lambs around for my boys, not mis mothered lambs though,
so far so good with no dead ewes and no mis mothered lambs, ive upped the copper, cobalt, sulper and calcium, ill start with vitamin E once i get back from holidays,
then start my next round of vaccinations,
hard to believe that a dead ewe will cost over $200, compared to a live one with $50 of wool and $200 on the market,
great time to be a wooly farmer
