@Joannie they played this one on their tour of Europe too. i heard them twice, once in Frankfurt in the 'Alte Oper' then in 'Vaison la Romaine' - would love to travel there again - beautiful country side, easy-going people.

The introduction was 'composed' by S. - she is the one on the outer left when viewing from computer - (I know you know her by now, but some other of our friends may not) - the group of girls was founded by her and they were going for a few years, 'Electra' after the Greek heroine of antiquity, plus they were not averse to using electronic devices on their string instruments, like everyone does nowadays.

    S. is initially the reason why i got interested in pop music, as her first jobs after college were mostly with pop bands - one of her longer collaborations was with Jimmy Somerville in 'The Communards' - and I got really hung up on one song 'Don't leave me this way' - theirs were the first English pop vinyls I ever bought - it is a complete love story from beginning to end, but 'don't leave me this way' almost became a hymn, it played in night clubs all over Europe.

Full of teenage angst and longing
(and hormones - haha) but wonderful to sing along to.
