I think the Board have felt confident that this will not eventuate and that it has been worth the risk of allowing the statement in order to get a partnership with Pfizer, which is I believe the end objective of this exercise.

I agree. Still what seriously needles me the most about this proposal is the appearance that the board believes this is a good deal, all for $3m.
I would much prefer that they had said "Hell no bloody way! This is worth several multiples of that insulting offer!" And then forego the cash injection. My opinion.
