Further to my thoughts.....
Recently, Exxon had aired plans to exit Bass Strait, effectively saying the region was finished, to a degree.
This move by COE clearly shows they are prepared to spend on growth and exploration in the region and as the implications become more known/ widespread, we may see further interest in the immediate area
