Yea, When it comes to prices on the OTC I would take it with a grain of salt. I liken the OTC to a hooker who will negotiate a good night for a hamburger with the lot, the classier one will be a little extra with a can of coke.
The OTC (over the counter) does not trade on an exchange it is done by Market Makers or broker negotiating with shares they own or sell. You can buy them thru your broker but it will usually with another broker and if you don't put a limit on it you will pay top dollar. The spread can be extremely wide too, hence the wild fluctuations in price.
I just see this as a way of further exposure to US investors who will rely on news coming out of Australia and looking for away to buy without directly buying on the ASX market
