I do tend to agree hence the reason I commented on uranium in my original post ;) China along with Japan will need oodles of the stuff in my view.
One commodity I did neglect to comment on is iron ore & the reason I raise this now is that whilst China does already have iron ore resources domestically the do prefer the quality of Australia's premium product.
I'm curious as to what's going to happen the massive deep discovery that was made within China earlier this year or was it late last year?
I reckon if 'anyone' can access a resource that is probably considered too deep by most to be economically viable, China can. If they are able to access this massive source of iron ore then I wonder how this will impact the iron ore sector here in Australia?
