..I knew someone who would get the raw bacon out of the fridge and eat it..everyone else ran to the toilet..lol ..I also had a mate who died unexpectedly who was a Viet vet that lived with another friend who was a viet vet, enlisted soldiers not conscripts...and I got the call Noddy passed away last night..who incidentally was also president or Vice President of the vic motor cycle riders association...so went to their house to offer my condolenscences more or less and the other vet told me "I told Noddy not to eat the bacon raw it's been in the fridge for 3 months"...Noddy was a huge man and very belligerent and his response was " Douglas bacon does not xxxxxx go off" and consumed this aged bacon raw...and died in the night possibly from reflux in his sleep, they smoked dope continually....the worst thing is the 80 yo father rang when Noddy hadn't turned up to work and the housemate checked on him and thought he heard a grunt and assumed it was another migraine and said he's got a migraine snd not coming in today ..then later in the day thought it strange he still hadn't surfaced and realised he was as stiff as a board..... ..so I wouldn't be eating any raw bacon ,even on a keto diet...lol
