foolish stuff !
Some here seem to treat nukes so lightly - ignorance of just how powerful they are I suppose - big enough to blow up large regions rather than just cities
And US , China and Russia have thousands of them .
Enough to blow up the whole earth but even a lot less would make the planet far too radioactive for human life .

If the US DID want WW3 the US would be fighting in Ukraine now - easy enough to do that , they have a reason .
But they aren't which puts the lie to that silly idea .
Russia or the US could only win by being destroyed themselves in the act of destroying the other .
While missiles are in the air the opposite country launches .
Nuclear powers have never , and will not fight each other .

Even a conventional war is a huge waste of money .
Any war is economically damaging for participants .
Most of the reason for the US large debt .
Also why standard of living so poor in Russia .
