@Melburn I had no idea what a chart was when I started so just looked at charts on HC and tried to understand what posters were seeing. I had never heard of Elliot Wave Theory or Fibonacci levels but it's crazy what you find when you start going down the rabbit hole.

Youtube is always a great place to start, check out Rayner Teo (Trading with Raynor) and Andy from Finding Value Finance who have heaps of great content. I grabbed a note book and wrote things down which helped starting out.

Your trading platform likely has charts so try and save some templates for ease of reference and just have a play around drawing lines from highs and lows and you'll be surprised how often the SP dances around these levels.

Otherwise just keep googling - Investopedia.com will usually have info on most topics or questions I have.
