I think what Dave is getting at with his "If the dirt blows away" comment (or words that you attributed to him) is what he has previously alluded to in past communications in that they really looked at the maximum value they could extract from their processes they utilised in the ore they mined. I did NOT read it as a 100% Gold guarantee. I would take all the communications to read something like this:
We have done everything we can think of to hit the targets we have set for ourselves , however if tomorrow you find yourself taking the bus instead of driving the Ferrari you planned don't come crying to me because I've lost me shirt as well!
