Deep Earth Energy Production Corp in Saskatchewan worth checking out if you haven't already. Private company, fascinating story, quite similar I think, sedimentary aquifer, 3.5km down, 125*C resource, stage one 20-33MW with capex at $8m per MW, winning awards, lots of gov support, and most recently investigating lithium extraction also.
Also saw Contact Energy with a viability marker at $70-120/MWh and capex at $4.5m per MW but its NZ and different geothermal I gather. And Strike Energy's plans to incorporate geothermal energy in North Perth Basin.
Coal plant closures withdrawing base load electricity is the opportunity. Very interested to hear what they have planned.
