Morning all,
Another sunny day here. Early morning frost.
Reading about a woman's budget in Sydney. Her 'fun' a week costs her $300.
"The woman’s debts include $2200 on her mortgage repayments and her $32,000 HECS, which is automatically taken out of her pay.
The woman - who owns her car outright - spends $30 on her phone, $250 on transport - including train and fuel - $70 on internet and $500 on insurance.
While the woman didn’t mention what her insurance covers, many speculated it could be her home and car.
Other expenses include $25 on subscriptions, $140 on “health” and $100 on charity.
Once all her living expenses are covered, her leftover money at the end of the month is $1,082.
Based on her goals, she puts $300 aside for her emergency fund, $400 towards her holiday savings and the remaining $382 on “fun spending”.
Hope her mortgage is a fixed rate.
