Maybe it is our British ancestry that makes Australians such whingers. Every now and again we need reminding of what we have and focus on the good not the bad.
We Have
A free health care system for all. Medicare provides hip replacements, heart operations and top quality surgeons and Doctors ALL FREE

We have Democracy . We can freely vote for a range of people and parties knowing our vote is not rigged and the loser will depart without a civil war or coup

We have a superanuation system whereby workers contribute to save money for the future

We have basically free Education up to University level

We have low unemployment where basically anybody that really wants a job can get one.

We have civil order with trained Police that uphold the laws with minimal brutality and corruption.

The list could go on a lot longer but anybody that has lived in other countries can testify that we are some on the luckiest people on this planet.

So enjoy it. We even have a chance to make massive fortunes on the ASX and tell people all about it on Social Media

So true Mal, I don't live in Aus anymore and one thing I have come to realize is (generally speaking) how unappreciative some Aussies are to how good they actually have it. I regularly see poverty, corruption and ‘hard luck’, yet many of the population actually seem happier than a lot of Aussies are, who have it so much better.
