Real rates are indeed negative and seem to be increasingly negative due to central banks not increasing interest rates. IMO central banks are way behind the curve WRT inflation especially in US and Europe and if they are not careful it is possible they may lose control of inflation which appears to have happened in the 70s and early 80s. If the do lose control POG will significantly increase but now who knows.
