There seem to have been a lot of ket staff movements to other companies since Euroz acquired Hartleys.
Eg [Court Action against departing advisors]
I guess with future WA growth in minerals and more assured, institutions from other states are wanting to secure local people who know the ground?
In regards the funds sale to WAM …. I am sure there is a master plan but what might it be?
Maybe Euroz wanting to be counter-cyclic and expand its’ interests elsewhere?
I like Gavin Allen (https://www.eurozhartleys.com/our-research/research-team/) for reasons of whim and his past comments on a company in which I am largely invested so I think - given WA future and him being on board still I will stick around.
Nevertheless losing Jon Bishop sounds like a big hit :/
cheers

Euroz Hartleys executive director and head of research Jon Bishop will leave the Perth broker after 15 years to join Sydney-based investment and advisory group Jarden.
Mr Bishop will join Ben Lyons of Yarra Capital Management as co-heads of resources research in the company’s new Perth office from late June.
Jarden said the pair would join the company’s existing head of oil and gas research, Nik Burns, rounding out its research team across the energy and resources sectors.
And in another move at the company, Jarden’s head of diversified financials research, Kieren Chidgey, has been promoted to deputy head of research.

Jarden said the appointments would help it achieve its goal of covering more than 240 stocks across Australia and New Zealand.
Jarden already covers more than 200 stocks, including more than 135 in Australia, and is ranked top three across Australia and New Zealand by the number of stocks covered.
Mr Bishop, who has previously worked for BHP and Woodside Petroleum, joined Euroz in late 2007 where he was initially employed as a mining analyst and then as a generalist resources analyst.
He was appointed executive director of Euroz Securities in 2011 and head of department (research) in 2016.
Mr Bishop holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology) from the University of WA and has a graduate diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA.
