I thought your points on price movements were interesting. If you manage to come close to picking the tops and bottom there was a lot of scope to make some money on the volatility. Day trading however is something I'm not good at so I avoid it like the plague.

I share the same concerns about the shipping issue. BGI thinks he has a better oversight on the issue so we'll find out next week. The stock has been beset by bad luck much of it out of SYR's control for the last 2-3 years. It just needs some clean air. To SYR's management credit, they have stayed the course with the progress at Vidalia to become fully integrated the shining light. It's why I could never understand some of the criticism.

As you know I've always said the market will come to SYR. Shareholders just needed patience to let it happen. If Balama can ship 30-40kt a quarter at current prices it should be enough to fund the rest needed to get Vidalia to 45kt. At 45kt, SYR will have 2 very good sources of income. Throw in the vanadium and make it 3. I still believe the vanadium redox flow battery will play a major roll in battery storage moving forward and hydrogen fuel cells could be massive in the shipping and large civil engineering equipment markets.

SYR remains a massive growth story but it isn't going to happen overnight. Thankfully most of the problems are behind us. Shipping is the last major issue and steps have been taken to circumvent some of the problems.
