A few commentators and analysts whose views I’ve read or watched have commented on the interesting impact Covid has had on the Biopharma industry.
first a lot to companies were getting pumped as people threw money into the sector during covid. Then specific “Covid beneficiaries” having a lot of cash to splash. Then small to mid cap biotech valuations deflating potentially driven by Covid-caused delays in clinical trials and therefore pivotal news. A mix of interesting factors.
