The AFR have the sentence poorly structured. I also read it as it is priced at 7.4, but the discount then wouldn’t make sense. So I think the AFR should have written it as “The credit raising has been priced at a 16.2% discount to MRR’s last close of 7.4c”. Also curious why raise now when the news train should create greater upside for a future raising in the near term.
