bit presumptuous mate, I can't even begin to count the amount of times I've had to call up plant sparkies only for it to be a faulty part straight from manufacturer. all generators, turbines, pumps etc comes from Asia and requires specialists to fault find to protect intellectual property.

1 tiny fault on scitech (monitoring software) can bring down the entire production and not really fair to blame general maintenance blokes for it and you don't become a multi billion dollar company without have quality assurance clauses with suppliers that cover production loss.
