I still believe the company will come good, possibly in a huge way. I believe it is a riskier proposition now than it was a year ago. But I agree with you that management is starting to show some genuine teeth and pedigree. I’ll also agree with your timelines of possible success next year - in line with my thinking and much more realistic than what’s being thrown around here.
My negative sentiment is not necessarily directed towards the company’s likelihood of success (although sometimes it is and recent events have shown that has not been an unreasonable position to take).
The majority of my negativity (“cynicism” is a better word) is dedicated to mocking two breeds of posters
- those who enjoy the embrace of pack mentality to belittle reasonable posts just because those opinions might not paint the best picture.
- those who will ignore any possibility of negativity at all costs to post sunshine and lollipops, but worst of all will deliberately omit negative things they come across. There are people who bought into that bullshit in the high 40s.
I can’t stand hypocrisy and this site houses the best of them. So frankly, it becomes sport to highlight it. I don’t need to feel popular.
