In the photo on page 31 of the presentation you will notice that there is a bit of greenish vegetation on the right hand side of the picture. I'm fairly sure this would be associated with the Fortescue River and possibly one of the permanent pools that are connected to the Millstream aquifer. Millstream is used as a drinking water supply for the West Pilbara and any new railway lines, mines and other infrastructure will need to be developed in a way that ensures no ill effects on the aquifer. The Millstream area is also under consideration to be listed as a Ramsar wetland.
It may not be just as simple as connecting to the existing railway at the closest point to the tenement and FMS will need to consider this in their mine planning
