To BigGambler, DrDan and all the other negative posters on property, Please, please and please stop posting all the c* *p about prices falling(even the "EXPERT" KEEN admitted he was wrong). Please don't take this post as an attack on you guys, i was one of you guys till 5 years ago. Here is my story, i bought a small unit 5 years ago(even though i thought property was going to fall), now i can positive gear it if i decide to rent it out(Thank god i took that decision). I bought another property a year ago and i am getting 4% return. And ya, one more thing, i came to australia 15 years ago with 600 dollars in my pocket. now i have got 2 properties. I know lots of more migrants who came when i came to australia struggling to pay the uni fees but worked very hard to finish the studies and got a decent job. everyone has got atleat 2 properties. No one had any help from their parents.
Please don't give me any statistics. I buy property when i am able to afford it.
