The hypocrisy is staggering. The Australian/NZ and US political and defence establishment are in hysterical meltdown over the China/Solomon Islands security agreement, over 1,700 kilometres from Cairns.
But apparently Russia is supposed to be sublimely unconcerned about a NATO military buildup, directly along hundreds of kilometres of Russia's border.
