I wasn't going to comment but you guys have amused me in your thinking so there you go.
@nickynoonah Do you understand what a lease is? A lease is NOT selling an asset. I.e. if I go to Telstra and lease a phone. I pay Telstra for the privilege of using that phone. When the contract is up, I can choose to lease a new phone. Telstra makes money off me all the way through... Now in your comment about the port same principle. That sounds like a sound decision was made on behalf of Australia. We own the asset and money comes in and strengthens our economy. Doesn't that sound like a sound decision to you on behalf of our interests as a collective?
