It depends also in the ferrosilicon market
Chinese ferrosilicon prices are up sharply over the last few days based on semicoke considerations rather than demand. The price is now rmb11,800 to rmb12,000. As with chrome, in the US ferrosilicon prices ranged for below $2.90 for forward Chinese commodity grade to just below $3.50 for Western material.
