Argue all you like but dual income plays a big part for the very reason that you can borrow more.
Sure borrowing money is getting harder to a degree but those that have sufficient incomes can still borrow okay. Those with bad credit histories and insufficient income streams will find it allot tougher to get finance if they can get it at all.
