I see you come back here occasionally to check on Jatcorp.
Great post with some good points.
1. The evidence in sales growth is here from the quarterly.
2. I agree Supply Chain hold ups are still strong. I think the opening up of flights are an indication that airfreight covid pressures are easing at least. Boat Shipping will take a lot longer and freight prices will impact profit margins for a while yet. There is light at the end of the tunnel though.
3. The strategy seems to be to keep on expanding products, markets and sales of FMCG. There is a lot of activity on this front. Two much for me list here.
4. I think the eyes comment refers to this in the quarterly
"JAT’s early investment in developing its plant-based food business has placed it in an enviable position in that sector, as global dairy leaders are increasingly moving into the plant-based foods space. M&A activity by dairy companies in the plant-based foods space is soaring - notable acquisitions include Saputo’s acquisition of Bute Island Foods, Danone’s acquisition of WhiteWave, Lactalis’ acquisition of Siggi’s, Nestle’s acquisition of Terrafertil, Bel Group’s acquisition of All In Foods."
At the moment Jatcorp definitely has Gold Brick private equity investors eyes firmly placed on it. Probably for 49% anyway.
They bought opera browser software with another fund partner for $600 mill and a few other notable purchases.
So an interesting find when googling best4kids.
These pictures came up at their address.
Notice the Green Forrest truck in the third picture and the product list on the best4kids website.
Green Forrest distribution brands camelbak, thermos etc.
Green Forrest is back and airports, where GF did most of their sales, are opening.
Great news for Jatcorp considering GF contributed 10's of millions in sales and net profits prior to covid..
