In time, having charging facilities in complexes like yours will influence the ability to sell or rent a unit.
I own a PHEV and live in a townhouse complex. Having a garage means that I can charge my vehicle without being at the mercy of the body corporate.
If I were to move, having the ability to charge my vehicle would definitely be a factor.
