Bruny Island by Heather Rose. Written in 2019, I read it in 2022. What a book !!! What started out as fiction was turned into fact on so many levels. Used it for my book club, talk about inciting discussion on all levels, political, historical, a sense of place, etc. Got one of the highest ratings we have awarded a book. I loved her style of writing. There is a brother and sister standing for parliament, on different sides of the fence. Bit far fetched I thought, then I turn on the news and in NSW they are interviewing a brother and sister who are standing as candidates, one for labor, the other liberal. Not so far fetched after all !!!!
