It is politics 101 for Labor. All they have to ask themselves is who will come out of it better? So Byrne spent $2000 branch stacking. Small fry compared to the antics of Angus Young, Andrew Robb as example. Labor will be champing at the bit to get a retrospective, RC powered ICAC in place. Will they come out scott free, of course not. But they will win the war of attrition and the long game. Don't forget how many hundred of millions of our money was spent on a RC into the unions, all just motivated to find dirt on Shorten. What di it turn up? absolute zero, nada. Our nation needs ICAC more than anything, to hold past corruption to account and keep future corruption in check- across the isles. You really need to question why one side of the aisle is so opposed to it.
