Have you heard of Tesla, they are using a silicon composite and graphite anode. they understand high loading of silicon cannot be achieved with industrial production and the swelling of silicon is the reason why they are limiting its use in their batteries.

There is no point having a 1000mah battery, that fails after 200 cycles. the higher silicon anode might be suitable for consumer application but at its current level of development will not be used for grid storage of EV's.
