This is from the home page under corporate and is enough to inspire more reading / research. Don't expect to see 1m shares traded in a day and frequent large price leaps. Price movements will be more pronounced once the company is better understood and when there is the really big hit from drilling.

Meanwhile management looking to maintain majority holdings after floating off different prospects like uranium and I guess iron ore etc gives existing shareholders an opportunity to benefit further. The parts separate are generally more than the whole.
CORPORATE INFORMATION
Havilah Resources NL was formed in late 1996 to explore for gold and other metals especially in South Australia. In mid 1997 Lion Selection Group Ltd became a cornerstone investor in Havilah Resources and subsequently invested $1.9m.
Havilah listed on the ASX on 21st March 2002, following a successful $6million capital raising. The Company initially focused all effort on drill testing its Gawler Craton properties including the Mattaweara, Pernatty and Parndana projects. With the difficulty in obtaining good acreage in the Gawler Craton, Havilah turned its attention to the equally prospective Curnamona Craton region of northeastern South Australia. Over a period of three years Havilah patiently acquired strategic ground holdings in the Curnamona Craton from major companies who were downsizing their exploration divisions and exiting the region at the height of the minerals slump.
Currently Havilah has a large contiguous block of tenements in the Curnamona Craton covering roughly 6500 square kilometres, and mostly owned 100%. These tenements encompass most of the well mineralized parts of the region including the Kalkaroo copper prospect, the various Benegarie Ridge prospects (Portia, North Portia and Shylock) and the Mc Brides Dam lead –zinc prospect. These prospects are the current focus of Havilah’s exploration activities.
KEYPOINTS
A strategic ground position in the Curnamona Craton, an under-explored world class Proterozoic basemetal – gold province in a logistically favourable area of South Australia.
Tens of millions of dollars have been spent in the region by major companies resulting in several mineral discoveries with outstanding exploration potential.
An unsurpassed geophysical data-base assembled by successive pro-development state governments.
Scientific approach to exploration involving routine use of 3D data analysis and modelling techniques to assist drill targeting. This approach increases the possibility of early drilling success, resulting in more efficient and effective use of available funds.
Early exploration success, with numerous ore grade intersections in Havilah drilling, vindicating the prospectivity of the region.
Directors and managers experienced and successful in exploration, mining and financing.
