The best we can do is not too compound the problem; adapt society to be prepared for change and hopefully avoid the problems that had occurred in the past.
We need to be carefully that the technology, that many seem to want to profiteer from, will possibly be the next generation environmental pollution problem!
The fossil fuelled car overcame an environmental and health problem, and now what the past generation thought was solution turns out not be an environmental problem.
