I'm a firm believer in the Peter Lynch style of investment.
He compares investing in shares to a baseball game.
A baseball game normally has nine innings. Lynch says that you don't have to invest in a company during the first inning. Often it is best to wait for the 2nd or 3rd inning. In other words, you don't have to catch the first move. I have a similar approach.
