I think u are deluding yourself that shareholders will decide….the system is rigged that the people with the biggest pocket will dictate the outcome.to the majority of individual shareholders.
U must remember that Linkmarket and ComputerShare research shows that only about 4-5% of eligible shareholders actually bother to vote.
Out of this small percentage…the majority of 75% votes will come from the T20 and the likes of MCB.
Unless there is provisions within the Corp Act to ignore the result, it’s finito to the demerger.
U better start lobbying a large T20 holder who supports the demerger for any chance off success.
