From the most recent announcement:
"AVZ confirms that it retains legal title to a 75% interest in the Manono Project and is progressing the
sale of an indirect 24% project interest to Suzhou CATH Energy Technologies under a multi-faceted
Transaction Implementation Agreement (TIA), which is due to complete this month.
Post completion of the TIA, AVZ will hold an indirect interest in 51% of the Manono Project (excluding
the 15% interest to be acquired from Cominiere, which is subject to ongoing discussions with the DRC
Government)."
From "AVZ to increase equity stake in
Manono Lithium and Tin Project to 75%" (21st Sept 2021).
"Upon completion of both Agreements, AVZ will own 75% of the joint venture company, Dathcom Mining
SA (Dathcom Mining) – which holds 100% of the Manono Project Licence (PR13359).
The remaining 25% of the joint venture company is owned by La Congolaise D’Exploitation Miniere SA
(Cominiere), of the DRC government."
Can anyone explains to me why this is not absolutely clear?
AVZ owns 75% of Dathcom through a joint venture with Cominiere. Dathcom was just was just awarded the ML to Roche Dure and CDL. Therefore AVZ have 75% stake to Roche Dure and CDL.
75% becomes 51% after CATH.
51% becomes 66% after Cominere Option, which according to announcement is in advanced stages.
