I agree to an extent, but a positive market announcement is likely to result in a short-term bounce, holders/traders will exit to lock-in profits or limit losses, causing the stock price to give back most/all of the gains within a week or two. This scenario has been playing out across the ASX for the majority of this year.
The ideal situation is for CDA to form a constructive base, macro conditions to bottom and then broader market sentiment to start improving again, then increase the newsflow to sustain positive momentum.
