Most people would tell you that there is no energy transition afoot in America and EV’s are somewhere down the road if ever! I have yet to hear someone in mainstream espouse the carbon transition from a focus for future investment based on guv support and need for the future to leave carbon. We are going to need carbon but it will be phased out more and more. Who wants to invest in that? Meanwhile many people are invested in that very thing and commodity prices get bid up because there is no one investing for obvious reasons. More and more lithium, graphite, rare earth, uranium, and hydrogen will fill the void but it will not happen over night.
