Ukraine already has four uranium enriching plants & the richest deposits of U in Europe. Just a couple of years back Ukraine planned to commission 80 U reactors that sent chills in European countries Russia included of course. THAT is the reason Putin is where he is now. As the former Oligarch said the other day, Putin doesn’t give a sheet about NATO. But he is full of it in Ukraine becoming the next nuclear superpower. Germany was against sending arms to Ukraine at the start for good reasons, they probably agreed on something now.

I was addressing the statement that "no one was interested in ukie land (sic) until oil was discovered in 2010", which is untrue.

You, yourself, say "Donetsk region fall into wheat belt, the best agricultural region in Europe."

So, you would agree that the Donetsk IS, and HAS, indeed a very valuable region for many reasons for a long time?
