MSB could have just done a study comparing ryoncil with the other currently available treatments as the control (like Novartis did with ruxolitinib)
the fda haven’t said the MSB trial needed to be an RCT using a totally inert placebo, it just needed to be a trial showing it was as/ more effective than existing treatments
