There are many therapies that are shown to work in large trials, then found to not work subsequently.
Science isn't black and white.
What I'm saying is HA is thought by some to be useful as intraarticular injections in arthritis, and there is evidence for and evidence against.
So why wouldn't they control against that? If you really can't understand that, which is honestly very basic, then there's not much more I can do for you bud.
