you're not much of a military strategist are you? If the Allies in WW2 were all pacifist, Hitler would have ruled Europe. Putin is a fascist no question about that. Nobody rational wants Putin to keep threatening nuclear war to get his way. The way to win is to call his bluff, but slowly and gradually so as to avoid any accidental escalation. This is what NATO is doing.
