Oh i dont doubt they can raise additional funds.
That is not what i was getting at.
My point was why would you buy now - knowing there is a capital raising coming - which will be at a discount to whatever the price at that point will be. And given the current macro outlook - rising rates and profitless companies suffering - i would bet the SP will be the same or lower come that time.
So why buy at 7c now - when it may be 6c in a month and they do a raise at ~10% discount at 5.5c. Then buy then if you are beleiver.
The caveat i put was if you expect a big bang announcement in the next 6 weeks then sure by now if you expect something to happen/be announced that takes the SP to say 10c. And if that happens you bet they will do a raising immediately at like 9c.
And in fact companies often try to "manufacture" these circumstances. Pump the SP a bit and do a raise.
Anyway - my post wasnt about the merits of the company (i actually think its interesting/useful tech) or indeed its ability to raise funds. More so that the need to raise funds will keep a lid on the SP till then.
Time will tell - for holders - hopefully i'm wrong - but until that raise and at least - i'll be on the sidelines.
