I agree that a bit of both would be the preferred way. The problem is that the tax offset for low and middle income earners is due to expire in June. That will cost most people more. The only "workers" in line for a tax cut are those earning more than $160,000. 90% of all taxyers will pay more next financial year. Cancelling those cuts and redirecting savings to low and middle earners is the only responsible policy - supported by nobody except the Greens!
