I think the AFR article put it perfectly, the new management team will have to prove they can turn things around, and until then BVS will remain at depressed valuations. The main pressure on them is the rising costs of IT wages across the board. To answer your question about the drop today, did you see the market lol? Most IT stocks down 4-15% across the board.
