Paying a big divident does not necessarily SP go up and stay lot higher for a longer period.
It will go up for a short time and it dives down
For example is a stock FMG. It paid a divident of 2.11 when the SP was around $20 one year ago. The SP went up to around $25. Currently the SP is around $19.
I recon SWM should pay a divident similar to NEC. If there is extra cash available use it for M&A or reduce the debt
