Great news, and also great reminder to everyone of the timelines involved with: testing a new tech, validating a new tech, designing that into a product (which then has it's own development and testing timelines), establishing manufacturing, and then eventual release of new product with new tech.
I'm sure a LOT more of this sort of work is going on in the background. This announcement gives us a bit of a benchmark now. So I would expect more similar announcements as other companies reach comparable milestones.
